☂ Don't turn your back on destiny 🔥

Earlier today I received news that one of our fellow digital warriors passed last night in her sleep.

This comes as a shock to me, as I imagine it did to you, as she was just posting yesterday.

Jane—as we knew her—was a fierce intellect.

Efficient and sensible, with an incredible breadth of obscure and practical knowledge. Her research abilities challenged that of the very best autists.

Somehow she managed to be both an extreme believer and skeptic, which led to many arguments.

While we didn’t always see eye to eye (😉), and she was always the first to remind me when I was wrong, I respected her a great deal.

I looked up our DMs and it seems our final exchange was just over a month ago.

No matter what she was going through personally (and she was going through a lot) she always made sure to keep the fire alive among friends.

Among other things, I will miss her humor and good-hearted firmness. But because it feels like end times, I am reminded of the following…

And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”

—Revelation 14:13

Fly up and up, Jane. Rest well, and enjoy the show. We’ll see you on the other side.

Please feel free to share with those who knew her. And if you would like to leave some words below, about her impact on the community or just how she made you feel, it’d mean the world to me.

God Wins.
