An arrival and Jeremiah’s way ⛰

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Jeremiah 3:33

Spent past few nights in deep, personal prayer.

(with my loyal lil pup by my side).

And in each instance, talking directly to my Father in heaven, my body begins to vibrate.

Imagine drifting thru space, approaching what we call ‘Earth’, peering down at its majesty.

Feels like an invitation to explore the world below, while reminded our souls come from and belong to somewhere else very far away.

Then today I receive news of a new album from Above & Beyond’s Anjunadeep label imprint.

For those who know, SEVENTEEN linked to their music three times between 2017-2020.

So I get in the car, press play/shuffle, and drive off into the forest. First track is called ‘Arrival’:

This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival
A joy, a depression, a meanness
Some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows
Who violently sweep your house
Empty of its furniture
Still, treat each guest honourably
He may be clearing you out
For some new delight
The dark thought, the shame, the malice
Meet them at the door laughing
And invite them in
Be grateful for whatever comes
Because each has been sent
As a guide from beyond

(listen for yourself)

Listening hit me with a knowing shiver. That I was meant to listen to this now and to share with you.

Because its guidance mirrors questions I asked in prayer. Answers from above encoded in 🎶 frequency.

While we’re here, I also wanted to share with you that I did some painting over the weekend.

Completely new to me, as I only began drawing a few years ago—and exclusively on the iPad.

It’s fun to express in different forms, and the next experiment is to commit to something I’ve resisted due to fear—making spiritual comics.

But the combination of words and pictures is a great way to quickly communicate information.

And what I’m here to help communicate is the Fatherhood of God, the Brotherhood of Man, and the loving truth that the Kingdom of Heaven is found within each of us.

So I’m starting to sketch out simple, evocative strips now, based on my personal prayer.

I’ll spend the next few weeks building a stack and plan to launch after the 4th.

What if I can publish one comic per week for the next 12 months? The next 30 years?

What if this community grows and contributes ideas that can be turned into comic-form?

What if we work with our friends worldwide to translate these Gospel comics into other languages?

Each day it becomes clearer that these words and pictures are how I’m to use my time on this material plane. And I need your help.

So thanks for helping me. <3
